It’s Whaley Cold Outside

Personally, I really love Thursdays more than Friday’s, I know it still means I have another day to the week, but it’s the excitement of the weekend that I love embracing! Normally Grey’s Anatomy and HTGAWM is on, but they don’t return until February 11 (Why Shonda Why!?) and they both kick off my weekend in the right direction.

On Thursdays I also try to get as much work done as I can because over the weekend I will probably forget about it or not want to do it. Friday’s and Saturday’s I love spending out with friends doing anything, and on Sunday’s they are my chill days, planning my week out and just relaxing before another busy week!

Since it was cold out and snow seems to be falling all over the place I actually wore long socks today! Normally I wear short little ones, but with the freezing cold temps I’ve had to wear longer ones:)

Sweater – Gap! Isn’t it so colorful and fun!?

Vest – Target (I might be living in it:)

Jeans – Gap

Booties – Toms! Aren’t they so cute!

Pearls – J.Crew

And last but least my favorite part of this outfit the SOCKS! They are from Vineyard Vines; How cute are the little whales?

Stay warm in this upcoming blizzard<3

Vineyard Vines Vest

Hello everyone, I hope you all are enjoying your Tuesday:) It’s freezing here 24°, which feels like 9° out!

Today I am wearing my FAVORITE vest ever! It’s from Vineyard Vines, and I have been eyeing it up since it hit the stores. I got it for a steal during the holidays-originally $248 and I got it for $80! Don’t ask how, because I’m still baffled the cashier didn’t realize what he was entering it. The vest runs very big, I’m wearing a small and quite honestly could size down to an x-small since I don’t zip it.

Vest – Vineyard Vines

Sweater – Madewell

Jeans – Banana Republic

Boots – Tory Burch

I hope everyone stays warm in this wicked cold weather!

Winter Plaid

Happy MLK Day and Monday! Did anyone do any volunteer work? I helped my friend unload her car, that’s about all the volunteering I did today:) I also write back my pen pal from a nursing home. Anyway it’s freezing out and I didn’t quite expect it! So I wore some cute plaid and bundled myself in a scarf and my pea coat.

Also, I wanted to include a picture of my nails! I got them done in the Burberry pattern! My nail salon lady is amazing with designs:)

Wearing –

Coat – Lands End (This year)

Scarf – Nordstroms

Blouse – Target (Old)

Jeans – Gap

Boots – Tory Burch

Hopefully everyone had a warm day off:)

Why Did It Get So Cold, So Fast?

Why Did It Get So Cold, So Fast?

Delicious and Easy Cinnamon Pull Apart Bread

So I’m back to share with you all another recipe that is delicious! Cinnamon Pull Apart Bread is so easy to make, and again that is coming from someone who doesn’t step foot in the kitchen!

You only need four ingredients, a can of Grands Flaky Biscuits which is found right where the Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls are kept in your grocery store. Next you need 1 tbsp. of cinnamon, 1 cup of sugar, and 1 stick of butter. That’s it just FOUR ingredients!

  1. First set your over to bake at 350
  2. Melt the butter in the microwave
  3. Combine the cinnamon and sugar together in a bowl
  4. Place each biscuit into the butter first and then in the cinnamon sugar mixture
  5. Layer the biscuits and place them in the greased loaf pan
  6. Bake for 50 minutes

That’s it, it’s so easy to make and with only 4 ingredients, which the majority you probably already have, this recipe should be quick and delicious to have:)

Happy Baking,

-Preppy Sarah
