Lesbian Crushes on Celebrities

I have a major girl crush on Kate Middleton, Jessica Alba, Charlize Theron, and Mila Kunis. They are all gorgeous and have timeless style. If I could just live in there closets it would be amazing- they all pull off looks that look so effortless and elegant! I’m totally obsessed with them, I go on People.com and Justjared.com and love to see what they are wearing and what they are doing. It’s just like stalking but they can’t see me!

Kate Middleton helps out in many charities including Child Bereavement, PeacePlayers International, Royal Wedding Charity Fund, Starlight Children’s Foundation, Teenage Cancer Trust, and, UNICEF. I love how in magazines and online you actually see her involved with the people especially the children! All the royals always look like they give a 110% to these charities and I think it makes the people who go to see them or are just there feel better. She’s truly a role model.

I also just love how Jessica Alba started her company Honest! It’s an adorable line of Environment friendly household cleaners, diapers, lotions, soaps, and other house hold needs. The products all are toxin and chemical free which is great for kids! The diaper designs are adorable and if I had a baby I would stock up just to go put my munchkin in the adorable anchor print! She started her company with Christopher Gavigan (Jessica Capshaw’s husband!) because when she was pregnant with her first daughter Honor she felt like there were so many harmful chemicals out there and she didn’t want her child to be harmed. I think it’s an awesome idea, safe and effective and now at Target! (Woohoo!)

Charlize Theron has a charity called Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project the goal of this project is to help protect young children safe from HIV and AIDS. The team supports the young by: “1- Integrating, or innovating and engaging in HIV prevention education and stigma reduction strategies into the services they already provide, 2- Empower African youth to keep themselves and their peers safe from HIV/AIDS as a significant part of their work. 3- Foster an atmosphere of continuous learning by keeping informed about the most effective approaches to preventing HIV/AIDS among youth and the changing needs of the their communities and lastly, 4- Develop supportive relationships with key stakeholders in their communities to strengthen the impact of their work. I know there are so many celebrities who are seen at charities but for Charlize to start a project like this I think is truly amazing!

The charity that Mila Kunis donates to and helps out at is called Chrysalis- I’ve never heard of it but from just reading about it I love it! I love anything that helps people get on their own feet and work- I can’t stand lazy people asking for handouts word hard and the money will come! Anyway this charity is dedicated to helping economically disadvantaged and homeless people become self-sufficient through job opportunities. It’s a win-win situation if you donate to this charity you feel better and help out and people can get a job!

I’ve always admired giving donations to charities and projects. When I’m out at the grocery store, the movies or at McDonald’s and they say would you like to give a dollar I always do because I believe even a dollar can help somebody in need. If I won the lottery I think I would keep about 40% of the money the rest I would give it to the Sarcoma Foundation in hopes of one day finding a cure for my dad’s cancer. I would also donate to Dress For Success because I think that is amazing that they are trying to help young individuals find jobs. There are a number of other charities I would donate to but those two are my top two.

I’ll leave you here with some pictures curtsy of my Mac hard drive storage haha!

The 5 Least Flattering Trends

Love this!!! They are all so true!! Socks and sandels gross me out! Jumpsuits and Rompers never fit! You have to be tall, but not too tall (like I am (5’7)) and flat all over!(not me) Bodysuits I think are only ment for ballet class or a one piece bathing suit other then that do not wear it out in public!

Molly's Runway

I think people underestimate how great it is to be able to think for yourself.  Why is this important? It’s important because it gives us the ability to decipher between the trends that we love and the ones that do our bodies an injustice.  Here are five trends that we see in stores or magazines all the time, and yet I rarely see anyone who actually looks attractive wearing any of these trends.

1. Peplum tops

I love clothes that highlight the natural shape of the body.  Peplum tops do not do this.  They add an unnatural flare at the belly.  If you’re skinny, they create the impression that you’re not.  And if you have a little bit extra around the middle, they accentuate that.  Either way, you’re screwed.

2. Rompers

WNE & King’s

I visited Western New England University in June and it’s gorgeous! It’s in Springfield, Massachusetts and it’s a small college. The class sizes are small with less than 25 people in a class, as you go up in year the classes get smaller too! Which is a total plus to me! The professors also sound awesome they are there to help you and work with you. The campus was gorgeous and green- that’s another thing that I wanted to be out in the suburbs! I loved how the tour guide showed me the Neuroscience building right away so that was amazing I fell in love- like 100 percent! It’s about an hour and 30 minutes from Boston which is perfect for shopping or a day trip to Fenway Park. There is a ton more of info but bottom line if I get in that’s where I will be!!!

I also visited King’s college in June. It’s located in Wilkes- Barre, Pennsylvania about 2 hours away from where I love so that was nice- yet I wanted to have a little more distance from home! King’s was gorgeous too, they have some old buildings and structures that are just gorgeous! I love that it’s a small catholic campus! I love how the church is right on campus so you can go to church every Sunday! We had a lot of laughs on the tour including me falling down the gym steps! I guess I won’t be going to the gym to workout instead leaning how to walk! Haha! It was hysterical! I really liked how they had shops and restaurants within walking distance of the campus and I like the dorms how they were all girls or all boys. I really loved both of these schools! These are my top 2 choices!
